On the way up to Harris Beach State Park in Oregon, we stopped in Redwood National Park to take a bike ride. We didn't find much in the way of a bike ride, especially a dog-friendly trail. But as I was riding into the parking lot, suddenly there were two 800+ lb monsters 8 feet in front of me. These Roosevelt Elk bulls had been relaxing in the dense green next to the trail, and I nearly surprised the antlers off of them. I stopped in my tracks, and they cautiously moved across the trail toward the meadow.

"those are never-ever berries, which means you should never-ever eat them".
ReplyDeletehehe..
Sounds like a Homer Simpson quote. Another Homer quote "Leaves of three let it be, leaves of four eat some more"
Great reports!
